Default More Power/Throttle Response???

Ok guys I'm still somewhat new to the forum but always trying keep up with all the topics and posts, but I have one topic I would like any and all help on.

I bought an '07 crew cab a few months back with the 4.6 V8....well the truck I had previous to that was an extended cab 5.4 V8. I wanted the 4.6 to help out some on the gas mileage and I dont tow all that much either.

Well...I'm happy with gas mileage but I'd like to see a little more power/throttle response. Overall I love the truck and if I had it to do again I would prolly sacrifice the gas mileage and get the 5.4 again.

With that being said...what is the best alternative to gain some for the new truck? I have no clue when it comes to the programmers or chips or any of that. Which one/ones are better than others and which ones to stay away from?

Thanks in advance for any and all feedback!!

http://www.rpmoutlet.com/04f150.htm this is where i got my CAI and programmer and I just put in and took for a test drive and wow what a difference it has made all around, I also have magnaflow exhaust which sounds even better with the CAI and yes it does help with the gas. The great thing about the programmer is you can adjust for tire size to adjust your speedo.

the diablo programmer saves your factory settings and it will not leave any water marks or lines so it can not void your warrenty.

If you go directly to the diablo sport web site it shows the same programmer applies also to 4.6L 2V. Unfortunly, I liked rpm because I got my CAI and programmer for about 550 w/shipping. If you would buy just the programmer from them it's 400. You can shop around on the net. What I like to do is find the product I like go directly to there web site and see who is an authorized dealer and compare prices and shipping. I got my Crome plated steel bull bar from westin for 340+ free shipping when others were selling for 550 and sometimes more. It sounds like alot of work, but trust me in the end you'll get the products you love and the best bang for your buck!

I recommend the SCT Xcal2 instead. Troyer and VMP Tuning both offer it as well and highly experienced tuning work.
