Hey guys, had a few questions on some mods for the future. First one is, I got stock 18" fx4 rims and I really want some 35s, trail grapplers, or possibly the mud graps. And I live up in northern Illinois, so any input on which is better for snow. So far I've found the muds a bit cheaper, but only like 20$. And I just want to know what the exact size some people may have or had on their stockers. Seems like the 35x12.50 should work, cause I've seen it on people's trucks.

Next, does anyone have the rbp nerf bars with the steps that come out for an scab? Main thing is I want the dimensions so I can fab up a pair at my fathers shop. I feel like goin the cheap route. lol

And last, I tinted my tails while back and they didn't come out glossy like I wished for. Is there any tips to get em glossy from where they are now? Can I just sand em down a lil and add some more coats?

Any help would be most appreciated!

295/70/18 nitto trail grapplers are a great size with a leveled 4wd. As for the other question I'm not sure on that. My tails turned out ****ty, so I need to sand them down and reapply nightshade. I tried to leave the center clear and clear coat, but think I'm going back to solid black, just light coats.

Yea after doing a bunch of searching around, i feel pretty safe with the 35x12.50s on my stockers. The 295/70s, those arn't true 35s are they? Arn't they something odd, like 34.something? lol And i think im gonna do the same thing, and just sand down the lights and redo a couple coats and hope for the best! lol.

Don't add more coats to the tails... Did you clear coat them? If not, apply a few coats of clear coat and wax... Shiny.. lol

Yea I added a few coats of clear when I first did them. But maybe a good wax might help. I'll give that a try before I do anything else. Thanks.
