Hey all , sure glad I found this site it has been very helpful. My 2004 Lariat CrewCab has 127,000 miles on it and was dieing at idle and missing & jerking on light acceleration going up hill or around a curve. Had P022 code so I changed VCT on driver side and that fixed my idle issue. Still missing on acceleration and seems to get worse. Does it mostly after warmed up. Now has codes 171, 174, 302, 307, 316. Do these codes show what bank its on ? Last week it was only showing P0300. Sometimes light blinks but mostly just stays on. Had cats changed on drivers side a cpl months ago and had problems ever since. Just bought plugs and a fuel filter but got to buy special tools for both this weekend. $$$$ I'm just a weekend shade tree machanic so ANY advise would be very helpful and appreciated !

My 2006 crew cab 4x4 was doing the same thing, jerking on light acceleration. Didn't have any codes but I had the plugs replaced and it fixed my problem. Hope plugs will solve your problem.
