Default Misfire

My 04 f150 lariat screw had a misfire a couple weeks ago when passing a semi on the highway. Its not done anything odd since but Im wanting to replace plugs and coils just to be safe. Looking for recommendations on good plugs and coils to buy.

How many miles does your truck have? As for plugs: Always Motorcraft SP546, nothing else. You probably don't need coils. (but if you do, either Motorcraft OEM, or the MSD equivalent - though, since Holley bought MSD, I wouldn't trust them as much anymore)

Its recommended to change them every 60,000 miles, which in the case of your truck should have been done four times already.

Sp 546 and all new boots plugs torqued in 25 to 28 foot pounds . Done with hosp clean and carb cleaner in hole to get carbon out .

Use Motorcraft plugs, and Motorcraft or Denso coils.
