Default Mirrors

Hi all. I have a 2008 F-150 FX2. My drivers side mirrors seems to have loosened. Does anyone have any idea how to tighten it up at the pivot point. The roads I am driving to work are killing my truck. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Manual mirrors??? If it's the glass within the housing, then no, I do not know if this can be done easily.

If it's the whole mirror assembly, then removal of the inner door panel to access the mounting bolts is required.

Power mirrors it seems that when I go over bumps the mirror shakes at the pivot point. I was wondering if I take the cover off the back of the mirror would I be able to get to the pivot point?
