I was talking about putting the diff cover on when the goop is wet; unless you have three hands, two to old the cover in place and one to put the bolts in, it slides all over the place...stupid design IMHO.

Gasket seems to have set up and it seems to be leak proof so far, we shall see...

I'm usually the guy who needs an "extra hand" but it went pretty smooth for me. I let the sealant cure for about an hour before filling (friction modifier went in first, then oil). Two years/30K miles later the differential is fine, dry on the outside.
