So I have a 2006 FX4, and it's not equipped with the message centre. It has odo, trip, outside temp, and direction. Was just wondering if it'd be possible to swap this one out with one that tells me low fuel, open door, etc. Anyone ever done this? Did a quick search and found nothing.

 

You'd have to swap the whole gauge cluster out and wire it up with the info center buttons

 

That's what I was afraid of. I though the message centre itself was removable. Oh well. Thanks!
