posted on the off road section with poor response. thought i would try my luck with a larger audience. need some help diagnosing my 4x4 problem. tell me what you guys think. i followed the troubleshooting guide posted by FX4_soldier, but I got lost after replacing IWE solenoid. front passenger side tire spins freely while in 4wheel drive with the front end elevated. front drive shaft does not. 4x4 light comes on and gears change accordingly, but I dont think my front end is locking in. replaced the valve(or IWE solenoid) with no change. does this mean i have a problem with my hubs? does this narrow things down somewhat? what might the problem be? how much can i expect to dish out?
