Has anyone installed a mbrp exhaust on their 05-08 f150 with a 5.4. If so how was the the sound level at the tail pipes and most important was it quite in the truck at highway speeds. The tailpipes behind the wheels on both sides.

 

I have the single which is loader than the duals and its not overly load at highway speed at all.Its a low deep rumble sounds very nice.Im 40 years young and dont like loud exaust just a nice v-8 rumble.

 

Im waiting for some overtime pay to go pick the duals. A guy around here has the duals and it sounds great. Its not very loud but it has such a nice bark to it.

 

Ill let you know later in the week when I get it installed.

Why am I so different from everybody else?

Everyone wants quite Mud Terrains, I don't, I want that hum..........

Everytire I looked at now says' "engineered for reduced noise".....


Everyone wants loud exhaust so long as you can't here it in the cab..........


I just want plain loud exhaust...........


One of my next projects is long tube headers, high flow cats, and side pipes. That will be loud and deffinatly loud in the cab being that they will be exiting right at the back of the cab. Just got to save & for the headers and custom tune.....
