Default Map and Dome Lighting

I Searched the forums but couldn't find directions on how to install néw lights. I purchased LEDs (they just plug in) and need instructions on getting the map/dome light cover off to install the LEDs.

Could someone point me in the right direction or just give me some directions?

you just have to pull them. there is no bolts. works for both sides, front and back. double check you have all aligned before you push it back to avoid break anything and that is it..
to replace the bulbs, you just twist them, remove the bulb with the socket. then remove the bulb from the socket and install the new one.
if you got one of this leds in an sticker for the back dome, then you will have to secure it with the sticker somewhere inside. i used tape to make a base for it in the same place where the original was.

The overhead console does just pull down.

Be brave and give it a sharp pull straight down. Be careful not to pull too far down, as the lights are still attached by the wires.

And as mentioned above, use caution when putting everything back together and align the tabs properly.

The light cover in the over the rear seat just pops off, but it takes a special bulb.

Good luck and this is a easy mod, you will be happy with it for sure.

Thanks for all the information. It helped out a lot. I got the backseat led installed. As far as the front goes. I finally got enough courage to pull down hard enough. (thought for sure I was going to break something) once I got the cover off I found out that Jon sent me the wrong LEDs

Waiting on him to reply with a solution to solve my problem.
