Default Manifold leak

Has anyone else had a passenger side manifold leak? If so I was curious how much you paid to get it fixed. I would do it myself but not wanting the project right now.

Here are a couple threads I found real quick regarding the question at hand, it seemed about a month ago there was a new thread a day on the issue for about 2 weeks. When I search for things I do not use the site search engine, I find going to Google do your search and type f150forum after and you have much better results. For example: 2004-2008 f150 manifold leak f150 forum
I can not tell you how much a shop charges as I repaired mine myself but there is tons of information on this site in this section of the forum. From reading others experiences of paying for the repair I have found every dealer or shop will have different pricing based off a few situations that can arise which are explained in the links below. Enjoy.

Well I ended up having a mechanic fix the problem. It cost me $650 but at least its fixed and still $300 cheaper than the ford dealership quoted me. I couldn't go another day listening to the ticking. Luckily only one bolt broke in the back so it wasn't in the shop to long. He showed me the stock manifold and it was warped bad.

Wish the dealership near me was that nice. They wanted $650 plus parts plus $65 for every broken bolt.

did an 06 rebuild and you can get to all the exhaust manifold bolt thru the wheel well.. the flanges were the toughest but I used PB Blaster and used a breaker bar and the turn a 1/4r back and forth trick and they came right out... all the manifold bolts came out as well...

you'll need a catch pan for trans fluid as the stick bolts to the head and pops right out with ease...

an hour....ahahah good luck.

changing a manifold that's as a broken stud...forget about it.

Maybe if your a mecanic by trade and do this all day long..you could get it changed in 1hour..other then that good luck!

What about the trans fluid? you don't event touch it!..except removing the rear mount bolt to raise the engine :|..no oil dripping at all. Removing the pickup tube doesn'T really change anything.
