Default Boots Boots BOOTS

Your head hole is 5 inches deep, the boots prevent the 30,000 volts from jumping to the head. It only takes a pin hole ,they age with heat oil and time . its the cheapest part in there. No matter what they look like change them .
Keep your hands clean and plugs clean ,contamination can short out high volts . Watch out for anti sieze it will short out volts-- it contains metal .
Use dielectric grease sparingly on each end it is an insulator , its purpose is to stop moisture and heat seizing of boot to porcelain plug . It is not a conductive gel ,keep it off electric contacts for the most part .'

Use rubber lined spark plug socket and be gentle with new plugs, mc plugs are on their third generation--- orig sp 507 broke off ,sp515 many bad out of the box , sp546 now beefed up newest snout design .
Champions are good but expensive and are double platinum-- mc not . . Stay away from others . Change all plugs at 60k don't go to long . Keep your wells clean and dry ,replace cop connectors if locking tab quits . Clean out spark plug hole tip area with carb cleaner to prevent breaking plugs on installation in tip area due to carbon build up .

When it starts to shake click off overdrive. It might help preventing your fillings from coming loose in your mouth until you get the plugs changed.

Unfortunately it shakes without overdrive on as well. It’s pretty bad. But I haven’t been driving it and won’t until I get the plugs changed. Don’t wanna plug up a cat.

clean MAF and TB as well.

Use your scan tool to verify the MAF isnt reading anything with KOEO. Voltage should be 0.02 mA or less with the engine off.
