Default Magnaflow or Flowmaster?

Any opinions out there? I am looking to get a little more of a good note out of the engine (5.4, 2008).

Flowmaster. I have the 40 series and I love them!!!! They sound good at idle and acceleration but not loud in the cab while cruising.

I have heard that they're not as good on performance as magnaflows but for the sound, I love them!!!

^^ X2. I have the super 40 and it kicks ***!! Good performace and great sound!

I have continually asked for Dyno's from the flowmaster haters and recieved nothing so

I am not trying to turn my truck into a dragster so I don't care if it gives me 5 less HP than a magnaflow. I can still make that yuppy in the hummer jump as I WOT past him and his trophy wife on the freeway

Check out you tube for some sound clips to help you out with the sound factor. 2008 F-150 5.4 Magnaflow or Flowmaster.

Personally, I prefer the Magnaflow. But, both are good exhaust systems. Both will open that poor engine up and let it breath!!!

i prefer my magnaflow over the flowmaster i had on a previous truck. but i like less noise in the cab when at cruising speeds but sound good when i get on it. mine exit in front of the rear tire, the only problem ive had is the tips the shop put on keep breaking, i think its due to cheap junk tips so im having them replaced for a second time sometime soon.

magnaflow or borla. Mod motors respond very well to flow through mufflers versus baffled mufflers.
