i think ur spose to use throttle body cleaner for TBs and MAF cleaner for mas airs. but here is the thing ive done both my vehicles with $1.77 carb cleaner and it worked great. why bother spending 6 bucks a can for the other stuff?
i just cleaned my wifes maf with carb cleaner and its running great no codes or anything, (i used her car as the lab rat)

 

Carb cleaner is way to strong and is not good dor a maf. And there is a protective coating on your tb that carb cleaner will destroy.
