Ok, has anyone replaced their's and if so what brand. Fyi, I'm using k&n cai and edge evo on a 5.4.

 

I have heard that the oil on the K&N filters can damage the MAP irrevocably. It is probably more of a problem with the drop in style K&N element vs. the CAI kit. I still use the stock paper filter so I do not know, but I still have the original MAP on my 2004.

 

Well I'm having a little intermittent hesitation and being that I just replaced the plugs about 20, 000 miles ago and I basically ran my truck for a year with a cai minus the filter, I'm thinking the maf is probably pretty dirty. I thought about just cleaning it but if it really doesn't cost much, then I'll just replace it.
