Lower bumper with round fogs

Lower bumper with round fogs
I currently have the 04-05 f150 with the rectangle fogs and I want to buy the bumper with the circular fogs, but I was curious if they fit the 04-05? Looking at some of the bumpers on ebay they list them as for the 06,07,08. Any help?

It will fit. The reason the bumper is listed as an 06 and up bumper is this was when the round fog lights replaced the square (starting in 06).
You'll need to buy the new fog lamp assemblies and brackets, as the brackets for the square fogs will not work.
I'd try a salvage yard first. This way you can buy everything at one time, and for much less than new. You'd have to paint either one anyhow (used or new lower bumper).

I've also have really been wanting to do this. Do you need any specially harness to connect the wires from the 05 bulbs to the newly acquired 06 bulbs? Are they the same size bulbs?
If so that would be awesome because then you just need the bumper/brackets/round lights
The reason why I want to do this is because the rectangle lights get to much water and dirt in there and I hate replacing the bulbs all of the time!

thats funny to me....i always liked the rectangle fogs and that is the reason i bought an 04 instead of the 06 that i had been looking at. Id try salvage yards first too. even if you have to have it shipped in from another salvage yard it would still be cheaper than buying it new. are you looking to go w/ a chrome or painted?

Sounds like you have a chip/hole in your lens. Pull them out, seal them up with clear silicone caulk around the glass edge and reinstall them. Also make sure and check your bulbs. If they are not seated properly, they will allow contamination into the housing.
