Default Looking at purchasing 07 F150 2x4 Sport

I'm in the market for a half ton crew cab pick up truck. I found one local to me and test drove it last night. It's a 2007, 2WD, Red, Supercrew with the 4.6L and black leather interior.

It has Sport stitched into the headrest of the front seat but it's not an FX2 (or if it is, the decals have been removed). It also has 175k miles on it. It's high but I don't drive much so I'm not overly concerned about it especially with the 4.6

What should I be looking for from a maintenance stand point? The front pads, rotors and calipers were just replaced. The rears need to be done as well.

I did. This is all that comes up for a description. I'm less worried about what it actually is and more so about what I might need to be on the look out for as far as maintenance that's unique to these.

2007 FORD F150
VIN: 1FTRW12W77KB71551
Body Style: CREW PICKUP
Engine Size: 4.6L V8 FI SOHC
Drivetrain: REAR WHEEL DRIVE

Says its an XLT.. but, you said it has leather seats .. must of been added on.. or previous owner installed. the 4.6 don't have many problems.. any Maintenance history available ?

No maintenance history. However, there was a coolant line that was cut and then plugged towards the back of the motor by the firewall. I don't know why or if something was modified for some reason.

is it a heater core line ? should be 2 hoses going into the firewall right behind the motor.. these would be your heater core lines.. does the heat work in the cab ?

Yes, most likely heater core lines now that you mention it. Also, yes, the heat was working during the test drive.

Then it couldn't be the heater hose's if the heat in the cab was working. If one was disconnected and plugged you would get no heat in the cab. must be a vacuum hose. you can post a pic of it.

My 07 FX2 has black leather seats with SPORT monogrammed into them and have no bed decals because I removed them.....lol. Pretty sure FX2 and FX4 trucks show as a XLT on VIN searches.
