looking for other flatbeds!
So far I have not had any hasseles towing big *** loads. Here in Texas, well at least where I live, everyone has a gooseneck and always needs somethg hauled to some other end of the state and beyond. I just hate that our trucks get so little mpg.
I've never seen our body style with a flat bed before. I won't ever get one, but hey, if it works for you then run with it. We all like nodding our trucks, so why should something like this be any different? There is actually a Chevy S10 that rolls around this town with a flat bed too, but it's one of those home built wood ones. Looks really wierd.

cmf150 I love the look of your truck. I need to replace the bed on my 06 regular cab, and I think I might go with a flat bed now. I have the same color truck and everything so seeing your truck really helped with me trying to decide if a flatbed would look good on our era truck.
Ok, so I'm from a small town in KS of 3000 people. There are 2 companies that make flatbeds for trucks and both do very well for business. No Joke!! I'm used to seeing them all over when I go home to visit. Here ya go.

I got no use for a "pretty boy" ******* truck. My trucks work hard for a living, just about every day. My last '04 came very, very close to getting a flat bed. Majority have had manual transmissions too.

In my neck of the woods, flat beds are pretty common. I haven't seen one of our style with one but I've seen brand new 3/4 and 1 tons come right from the showroom to a machine shop for an aluminum flatbed, nothing cheap! You can carry way more weight with a flatbed and a set of racks than you ever will with a box.
