If your worrying about tipping over then you want to maintain a low center of gravity while increasing wheel travel. Get aftermarket +2" or +4" a-arms and coil overs (if your 2wd) that increase wheel travel capability without lifting the vehicle. Also makes your truck look like a sleeper.

Both Total Chaos and Icon make after market tubular a-arms for our trucks. I think Icons look better and cater more toward increasing wheel travel without increasing ride height too much. Not sure about how much wider they'll make your truck. You may also want to check out your local offroad fab shop that makes long travel and rock crawling vehicles for a one off design. Yes, it will cost you a pretty penny but doing it right is never cheap.

Not to hijack the thread, but I have a similar question about width, I want more of it!
I really want that wide-stance bulldog look. I've got the 6-inch zone lift, with my bilsteins set for the additional 2 inches, and the 17x9 moto metal 951s with the -12mm offset. I just put 37x14.00 super swampers on it a few days ago and they fit perfectly. I'm looking at getting another wheel that has either a -24 or -44 offset but I'm worried that the further out I put the wheels the lower the truck will sit and I'll start to get some rubbing, any suggestions? Here's what it looks like now

I need to add more content but it lays out MT/LT suspension pretty well.
You can add width by changing wheel offset, running spacers or running longer A-Arms and a wider rear axle assembly.
Stock Raptor 'stuff' will bolt on to 04-08 trucks so swapping is no big deal.
You can't run a longer UCA without also running a longer LCA, tie rods, brake lines and axles (if 4wd).
If you decide to run just an upgraded UCA like ICON you will only gain about 1.5" of droop travel as the uniball eliminates the mechanical bind from factory components.
Don't buy anything until you read the content in the link I posted.
