Default Looking at led headlight for 05 lariat

Researching clearance . The connector on the back of the oem light is about 1/2 inch or so from a metal beam . I wonder if there is enough room for the cooling fan on rear of light .
Talked to 4x4led about locking ring diameter ,I don't have one so that's not a problem . The connector is about an inch deep so it will connect to a cable on light not straight back towards steel post so I guess that will clear up about an 1 1/2 inch total space . Just looked at 150led you tube video and saw that the cable comes off the side of the led assembly .
I may go back out there remove assembly again and get a measurement with plug off light bulb to steel post . Anybody run into this already ?
Later models of f150 headlight assembly's look like they go more sideways with plugs .

I have plenty of room with my streetglow LEDs from 4x4truckleds. Can you post a pic? I'm not sure what the issue is.

Plenty of room. I'm using the OPT7s and they are great so far.

Default clearance pictures headlight 05

X is near where bulb connector is on white steel post .
Steel white post behind headlight connector about half an inch clearance to plug , from bulb lock flange to rubber ring about 7/8 of inch ,plug is about 1/2 inch deep so from flange to steel post 1/2 +1/2 +1inch. So maybe 2 from post to lock flange . I have no idea what led measurement would be . I could cut a large hole in post If I had to .
Tell me someone has already solved this . Sorry about quality of pic's .

Not sure what to make of the pics. But I can tell you I have 4x4truckleds streetglow led headlights. They have the cooling fan and I had 0 fitment issues. I didn't notice anything clearance wise.

It should fit without issue. I have Broviews with an extended heatpipe/fan element that fit fine.

Default Still looking for dimension of H13 type led 9008

This is drawing from 4x4truckled.com site . I realize the diameter is about 42 mm =1.6 inch including connector . No problem there .
No dimension on flange to rear of fan on the drawing . Since I have only 2 inches to steel post on the 05 .
I think the headlight assembly's are different on the 07's . If I get them installed I will update an 05 installation thread . I don't possess them yet to measure them . looking for someone who has them .

Default Can't get an answer to dimensions of light

Went to 4x4truckled site /contact us
They just sent me the diagram I already show here .
What I need is someone to pull one out of a box and roughly measure it .
If I could hold one in my hand I would know but online its impossible to deal with it . Nobody sells this locally .
Not impressed with communication . If I would have trouble with these lights would it be worse ?

I'll see if I can measure one later for you (unless someone beats me to it)
