I have been looking for a pickup for a while and nothing has really caught my eye until now. The truck is a beauty and seems tight, responsive and hits all the marks on my request sheet.

What I am seeking here is the knowledge and experience that can guide me to the pesky things that may not be easily seen or heard.

I have read the sticky and been reading through tons of topics and I think the truck I am looking at is a solid choice. Aside from the spark plug situation, which does not really concern me thanks to all of the info here, I can not think of much else that would deter me from making this purchase.

The truck in question is a 2006 F150 Xl reg cab 4d with an 8' box, 4x4, 3.55ls gears, 5.4 v8 and 59k miles. I think I'm in love.

Any info or direction to something I may have missed would be greatly appreciated!
