Default Lockers for our trucks.Need help

Am looking for a rear locker.Have done some research,but kinda lost.Need some advice on what to go with(no e-lockers,or air lockers)looking at the Detroit TruTrack Diff.Please someone take a look at the site provided and tell me what you think and or give me some advice.Thanks all.

+1 on the TrueTrac. Mine works great on and off road. Just make sure you get the proper one for your axle size.

PS - if you're looking for something cheaper I know quite a few folks have been happy with the Auburn LS as well. Personally though I like the zero maintenance design and instant engagement of the Detroit.

Ya most likely going with a Detroit.One other question tho if you can help me.Going to go ahead and upgrade to 456 gears while i'm at it.Do i have the right gears,or is this just something else.Seems kinda cheap.

since the detroit fits all gears then I wouldn't think it mattered when you did it. As far as the link to the gears you gave us, I say no. Yukon is what I've always used and they are really good. It's more expensive but it's worth it imo

As boduke said, I personally went with Yukon brand gears. The link Big Cube provided for Randy's is a good place to look.

The gears themselves aren't hugely expensive, but you have to remember that you'll also need new bearing kits and gear oil for both diffs as well. It all adds up.
