Eaton makes an E-locker. From what I have seen and heard they work really well. You can set it to full locker at a flip of a switch.

 

So how much do these lockers run installed and everything?

 

The install takes no skill. Ive watched an install video. So for me it will be zero for the install. And im pretty sure im going to go with the Detroit tru-trac. And they run abt $400.

 

Are the ones for the front different for the ones in the back?

 

The front is open. But im not sure if its the same i havent looked into it at all.

What is a locker and what is limited slip heh... looking to enhance my knowledge!

 

So if I wanted my truck to be a true 4wd I'd need to buy 2 lockers one for the front one for the back?

 

OR 2 limited slips or a combination of Limited Slip front or back and locker front or back. OR like you mentioned 2 lockers. Be carefull with a full locker in the rear, its a whole different animal and will take some getting used to.
