So I just went over 100k in my truck and it was going to be a little while before my mechanic could get it in for service. I wanted the oil changed on time so I took the truck to the local Citgo oil change place. Took my own Motorcraft oil filter and had the change. They told me all filters and fluids were good.
Well today my Motorcraft air filter arrived and I went out to change it. Below is what Citgo told me was a good filter. Never again.

They'll lube you up quick alright, just....not where you want it
