I want to remove the chrome thingy off my fenders does anyone know if it is just a sticky pad underneith it or what? if i remove it will paint be messed up?

 

off your fenders or rocker panels ??

 

If you're talking about the "F150" emblems, there are alignment holes behind them that will require filling in and a repaint, unless you plan to install something else over them. The paint will not be damaged though, just holes.

To remove, you can use dental floss to loosen a corner, then pull off. The tailgate emblem will also leave holes.

 

I think he's talking about those chrome strips running down the rocker panels...not sure.

 

Yeah im talking about the rocker things i dont know what they are called ha. i dont wana remove f150 emblems or the step side, just the chrome stip down the side
