Little Help?
Hey everybody I'm new here and I find this site very helpfull. With that being said I was just wanting some feed back on my wheel and tire combo. I want to run 325/65/18s dune grapplers and 18x9 kmc xd monsters, What is the best way to fit those with out a full suspension lift?
Thanks
Thanks
nope, they are just for looks, they do not make a cutout fender for the 04-08 f150's, but with bushwackers cutouts you need to trim the fender
go with a leveling kit and 325/60/18's that is the biggest you can go with a leveling kit on those rims.

so do they make a " cutout" bushwhacker for the 04-08? I did not see it in their site.

I'm running 35 x 12.5 x 18 (very close to your metric target) with a 6" lift, but you don't need to go that high. Rancho markets their quick lift kit as being able to accommodate up to 35s, but then proper backspacing is crucial. I believe Rancho recommends a 33 with their leveling kit, but will allow for 35s with the aforementioned attention to backspacing and fender trimming.
My truck came this way; otherwise, I'd go with a low COG approach of 2" to 4" in lift and 35s on a smaller wheel (e.g. 16 or 17) to get more sidewall going.
You might want to get the wheels and tires of choice mounted before going the Bushwacker route. I've seen people commit to buying flares, only to find that the flares stick way out past the tire extrusions and then you end-up looking like those bloated Tundras.
