Lip on rear tailgate
In looking at other make pickup trucks in parking lots, I noticed the Chevy/GMC and Dodge trucks all have a black plastic rear facing lip on the top of their tailgates. Now I see that the new Ford pickups have this lip "intigrated" into the metal tailgate.
Is this some sort of new engineered way of airodynamics? is it supposed to improve on drag, therefore increasing gas mileage?
Just curious.

for the cost of that lip from roush i would have anything stick over the tailgate it would make hauling longer items usless just my opinion i dont like the tailgate down when i go and get some 10 or 12 ft lumber
