i have an 05 f-150 4x4 an i have had to put in the shop twice for the limited slip i have a buddy that has the same truck and he has had his in the shop three times for the same problem...im wondering if any one else has has this issue or maybe anyone could tell me what could be causing this to happen

 

the stock oem limited slips are quite crappy IMO, they are touchy and a pain to set right, it takes a good ford tech to set the clutch packs just right....otherwise there wear funny and wear out prematurely

 

why dont you tel us exactly what is wrong?

 

the first time it was replaced it whould shudder on me real bad when i would accelerate on the highway took it in got it fixed had it for about five months and now it when i pull out of any where are go from a dead stop turning right are left it shudders till about 10mph

 

sounds like someone forgot the friction modifier.
