Default light bar brackets/roofmounts

I have decided that I want a roof mounted light bar for my truck, but I refuse to pay $150-$200 for the mounts. That is ridiculous. I did find these mounts for an 09-14 f150 that look decent, and are only $90. Has anyone tried to put these on an 04-08? or does anyone have a nice mount that isn't 300% of production cost?

The only thing I see wrong with this set of bar mounts is it does not include the hardware (expander sleeves) and it is only for a flat bar.

hmm I'm not exactly sure what the expander sleeves are? but as long as they bolt flat to the roof I would be content

I most likely did not use the proper term, what they are is threaded sleeves that you drill a hole in the cab, insert a sleeve and use a tool to mushroom the sleeve in the body. They have waterproofing as well. The end result is you now have a threaded insert in the roof and you can just bolt the brackets to them.
