If I had to guess I think it's because they had an issue with the mounting brackets that were coming with the guard. From what I've found is the earlier produced Predator's fit correctly and then they were not fitting right. Mine was one of them that didn't fit right. I think they screwed up the production of the mounting brackets somewhere down the line. When I first bolted mine up it sat two inches high and didn't look right at all. I was able to get ahold of one of the only members that owns one and took measurements of the mounting brackets. Sure enough mine were different. I bought some 1/4" metal plate and cut and welded to fab new brackets. This is the fitment issue I'm talking about.

That sucks that they couldn't fix the measurements, I think it would have been a big seller. The look of the bar u posted looks off, I prefer the predator over that

Ahhh, that sucks man. Glad you got it fixed up though they are really sweet guards, aggressive but not gaudy.
