Default Lifting question?

On the rear of my leaf springs the shakle go down to mount to the frame. If I remove that is it a good way to raise it a couple of inches?

Your not making any sense man....rethink your question.....now you can get lift/drop shackles to raise/lower your truck.

Basically the leaf spring is connected to the frame with a 2" spacer. If I remove that and connect the leaf spring directly to the frame will that work.

No. They make lift shakels though. You wouldnt even be able to get your leaves down that far anyway.

Removing those shackles (if it can even be done) will eliminate your rear suspension all together. The rear shackles are there to create a pivot point that allows the spring to flex. If the springs were "hard mounted" on both ends, it can't flex, and it'll ride as if you have no springs at all.
