the rear block for the raptor is tapered from 2 1/2 to 2 5/8 inches, so a little shorter than the 3"
Raptor shocks will probably add around 5/8 inches of rear lift from their internal load
rancho quick lift seems to give around 2" for most people
Heres the wild card. I can't decide if my leaf springs are tired and sagging.
IF they are, I want to switch them out for the leaf pack from an '08 and get 3 leaves and hopefully a softer ride. The real question however, is will that put me nose high with all the other modifications?
My understanding of it is the leafs on the 06-08's ride around an inch lower than 04-05. If my leaves aren't tired, and I get a pack from an 08 I will be nose high after losing that inch.
That said. The truck has 197k miles on it, and most likely on original springs. Previous owner had an air suspension and 5th wheel hitch in the back, so its reasonable to thing they need replacing, and leafs from an 08 will ride the same height as these do.
Any help is appreciated.
Remember. i'm running a 2" (measured actual spacer thickness - not lift) spacer in the front, and 3" rear block. doesn't it seem like the back is low for those mods?
