Default To lift or to level?

Just bought an '06 Supercrew 4x4...I need to be able to tow a gooseneck with it, but I want to raise it up outta the weeds. I'm considering a leveling kit(strut spacer), but I see a few F150s out there that look nose high. Should I level or grab one of the lifts that offer 3" front and 1-2"out back? Any opinion on either?

Leveling kit in front and airbags in the rear to help with the weight of the trailer.

Thanks. I think the bags would be a good idea.

A 2" level kit doesn't make it nose high. I don't know about with a gooseneck, but towing a boat on my hitch and my truck stays pretty leveled.

like someone once told me, if you have to ask, then lift, you wont be happy with a level.

(now if I could just afford the lift! lol)

I'm running a 2.5" level on the front, i'll probably add-a-leaf in the back, I sit just slightly nose high. Its so close its really on noticeable with a full tank of gas in it.

gooseneck is where it gets tricky. on my work truck it has an up graded rear suspension with heavy coilover shocks and all bc the weight of out trailer makes it squat so much. it looks funny bc there was already that differnce in hight from the factory now its even worse but when you put the trailer on, it sits level. msall150's idea a bags is a really good idea, i have thougth about doin that on my truck.

I had a 6" lift on my old truck and a 2" level on my current truck. It sits level and not nose high. I prefer the level kit because a susp lift will wear components out quicker in the long run.
