Smile leveling your truck

I have a 2004 f150 lariat 5.4L 4X4, I had problems leveling my truck i put a 2 1/2 inch leveling kit and then a three inch body and my truck still wasnt level, it had the nose dive, so my boyfriend told me that my rear had 2inch blocks so he took those out and now my truck sits perfectly level.

what size tires and rims should i be able to fit? because i am wanting to get 17 inch rims

Well since you had 2" blocks in there you must be a 4WD. With a leveling kit and a 3" body lift you should easily clear 36's and maybe even 37's under there.

no wxmcpo is right, you'll prolly be able to fit 37's but watch out for the front so that they don't rub when you turn. 37's should be fine though.

what about rims, i was thinking of keepin my stock ones and just getting tires because alot of places are telling me that not all aftermarket rims size 17 and 18 will fit my truck because of my callipers rubbing or something, so what should i do?

Well if you are going to places that have the rims right there in a showroom or something .. ask them if you can do a dry fit, i.e put the rim on your truck to see how they fit without putting the meat on .. and it will give you a better idea on how the rim looks with your truck ... i found out that some rims look good on paper, and in the showroom .. but they didnt look all that great on my truck ... good luck with your 35's or 37s

What places are you going to?? Most places will be able to tell if they'll fit or not by the computer. Also go on www.cardomain.com and you can view thousands of the same year F-150 and see what wheels you like or at least get an idea. Almost all of the off-road wheels will fit...I.E. American racing off-road series, Eagle Alloy off-road series, Boss motorsports (made by American Eagle).

Another suggestion is go to www.tirerack.com. You can choose your vehicle and it will let you see the wheels on your truck and you can pick different sizes to see what they look like.

haha ive seen a guy stuff 37"s under his truck with just a leveling kit, he did say he rubbed but he also noted that he used the tires until they needed to be replaced. So it couldnt have been that bad.
