Do it yourself, it's good to learn anyway. Rent a pitman arm puller from your local parts place or buy one for $10, it makes it a lot easier to pull the UCA BJ off of the knuckle. You'll need two larger sockets (IIRC 27 and 30), a standard 1/2" socket set, and a torque wrench. I'd also recommend a breaker bar or a impact wrench as well. Depending on your jack, you may need a couple wood blocks to get it high enough. Shouldn't take more than a couple hours even being your first time.

you cant mess it up..... its really only 6 bolts/nuts per side... not inlcuding the lug nuts. man if you really want to mod trucks and make it yours learn about it youll come to love it more. the more you know the better off youll be.

I hope you don't mind I ask this here but I have a question regarding a level. I've given thought about a 2" level but how much more stress does this put on the control arms and ball joints?

If worse comes to worse, just tow it to a garage. You won't regret doing it yourself because it allows you to learn. If it makes you feel better, I had a friend who would take tons of pictures of things he was working on that way he knew exactly how it was before he took it apart. He now doesn't and just jumps into things and goes with the flow. I personally think that every man should know his vehicle and if he doesn't then learn as you go. It's like driving a manual. EVERY man should learn how to drive one at one point of his life
