That's what I have on my truck and I love'em, although they can be pretty pricey as well. I wouldn't recommend anything smaller than a 35" and right now 4wheelonline.com is running a buy 3 get 1 free deal. Truck ADDons have them for $280.99 per tire. Shop around and get the best deal possible.

Well, I got my tires today. I had already decided against any type of MT. I am off the road with this truck very little, and when I am, its not in anything where an MT would be anymore beneficial than an AT. I did see a set of Dick Cepek FC II at the tire store today that I liked, but they were up in the same price range as the BFG, and they didn't have them in stock in 18". I went with Toyo 275/70 18, Open Country AT.

As I said, MT had been ruled out to begin with, too much road noise, and I don't put this truck in terrain that would make them a benifit. The Toyo, isn't quite as aggressive looking as I would like, but the price difference was enough to offset the pros/cons. I saved roughly $70 per tire, and thats enough to cover a big chunk of the Bully Dog downloader I am planning on getting. The Auto Spring lvling kit is already on order. Also, for some reason, my truck didn't have nerf bars on it when I got it. Don't know if it just didn't come with them, or if the previous owner took them off. So I want to get those on there soon too. After the Bully Dog of course

I do have a truck I am going to put MTs on. '88 F250 4x4 w/351. Will probably be looking at Maxxis for it, and a 3" lift. It has leaf springs front and back, so not sure what the lift will require for it. Its a hunting/play truck tho, so its on the back burner for now.

And I will post some pics when I get the leveling kit in hand, and installed.

Dan

when you get the Bully Dog programmer will ya give us a good write up b/c i havent heard of anyone with that programmer, its new tho.

I would befinetely go with Maxxis Buckshots for your other truck they are cheap, last long, and perform VERY well.

There are two sets available in the classifieds, both are brand new and can save you a couple dollars.
