Default Leveling kit problems afterwards

i just got a 2008 xlt and i was thinking about the 2.5 in leveling kit from skyjacker and i was just wondering if anyone had problems with any front suspension problems or anything that had to be done after the install

I have a 2.5 inch Sky Jacker level on my 08 FX4...no problems..its been on for over 20K miles now.

Measure the distance from ground to top of front wheel well. Then put your factory jack under your front crossmember. Jack it up 2"... look at it, then jack it up another .5" and look at it. It's not enough difference to justify the added .5". Mine was toed in enough with a 2" lift, your front components no matter what height you go for a spacer, if its not stock.. will wear differently, and NEVER for the better. Hope this helps.

Guess you can't hook up a trailer to the back of your truck...it's going to lower your truck 2.5 inches from stock...

Yeah seeing how our trucks are designed to sag in the rear under load. We are talking about the front buddy. Please take care and adjust your lights when you tow though, .5" higher in the front is a world of difference as far as lights go.
