Default Leveling kit installed, but...

2007 screw lariat 4x4. Put the 2.5 HBS leveling kit on this weekend. Everything came apart and went back together as is should. However the truck feels like I don't even have a sway bar and I'm hearing a lot of clunking and banging. The truck is sittino at the shop waiting for an alignment and I told the shop to go over all suspension hardware. Anybody else have this issue? And yes I've searched forums but haven't found anything related to my situation specifically.

Someone answer him, bc I just ordered a 2.5" for the front and 3" blocks for the rear so I want to know what to avoid.

They were slightly loose when I was completely of stands but I tightened them the best I could. I called the shop and they said the truck was good to go. I'll hop back on this thread in the evening to give the final verdict

They wear out and can't be filled tightened down enough. You end up with a clunk.

The sway bar links are cheap and easy to replace if you still have issues.

Ok guys I got the truck back after alignment and a once over of all hardware. I still have a clunking sound that isn't as bad and now a new problem. Between 50 and 70 mph my truck begins to shake violently. I'm starting to get a bit frustrated over here......

The clunk is probably the sway bar links. Have you had your wheels balanced lately?

Who did the work? The instal and the alignment? I really don't read about many people having the issues you're having so I'm thinking something could be installed wrong.

I had my wheels balanced about a month ago when they were installed. I did the install myself and I had a local shop do the alignment. Everything is in spec and within normal range according to the alignment printout. I followed the instructions for the install and everything went together as is should.

Replace your sway bar links and report back.
