Watch the video.......a spacer.......lifts the front end.........levels out the height of the front and rear of the truck......they did not come that way from the factory.......allows you to put larger tires on........more than 3" of level may cause premature suspension wear........more that one way to get the "level" look........

08f150 has got it down for you, if your out in the woods alot or might wanna go mudding from time to time..... definately invest in a leveling kit. before i had my leveling kit on i was drivin up to my property and a huge rock hit the underbelly of my truck, made me cringe at the sound of it. if your wanting a FEW extra inches without having to pay highprice for a suspension system. get a leveling kit, i got a pro comp

Or if you wanna go in the opposite direction you can get lowering shackles for the rear end and level it out with the front.

Leveling kits are great if you just want a little extra height.. I have 2.5 AS with 35's... It gave me alot of ground clearance
