Default leveling... front or rear?

Which is easier?

Raise the front or drop the back?

2WD if that helps.

i also have a 2wd. Hands down the rear is easiest. You can find shackles on eBay for around $30-$40. I have used djm. I have also leveled the front. That's how I know. I used 3" pucks and now 2.5" pucks with the factory shackles. It just depends on what you want. It was a little low for me when I lowered the back so I chose to lift the front. That's just me.

Doing a front leveling kit is equally as challenging as a rear shackle kit IMO. If you like a lowered truck look, go shackles. If you like a bigger, taller look, go spacers. An ebay level is like $80. Thats all I did and I have 35k miles on it zero issues and I've put it through hell.

This is all you need. Its basically what I have too. If anything mine was a cheaper construction. 35k miles and zero problems.

I leveled my 05 2wd and you know after doing the front, I didn't think it was that bad.. however I have zero experience with the rear end drop. Maybe to me I wanted a slight "lift" and bigger tires, so it just made more sense to raise the front. To each his own though! Post pics, would love to see!
