Looking at getting the nose of my '04 4x4 Super Cab off the pavment, Truck is only a 4.6, service writer at the dealership stated leveling kit will void extended Ford warrenty, but suggested using the heavier springs from a SuperCrew 5.4 to get the hight. Has anyone done this, and if so how much did you gain? enough to fit 33's?

 

Ehhh I've never heard of anyone doing that. Most just slap a leveling kit on it and call it a day.

 

if the dealer says it will void the warrenty, go to a different dealer

 

Its only $90 my cost for the springs anyhow, I'll try it. Want the striffer spring in the front for the snow plow anyhow. I'll post something when its done.
