Default Level and new tires

I am getting a little more than needed for school this year, I want to level my truck and get new tires. I'm keeping stock rims (17) and I'm pretty sure they're stock size. I want to go a size or two up in tire, suggestions? What are the sizes so I can get some prices estimated.

What size tires are you running now, and are you 2wd or 4wd?

I am running 2wd, and I'm not sure the size. I can run out and look in a bit. They're small and bald!

For a 2WD truck and after market wheels you can run 33s with wheels that fit withen these specs.
-For an 8" wide wheel the backspacing is 5.5 inches.
-For and 8.5" wide wheel the backspacing needed is 5-6 inches
-For an 9" wide wheel the backspacing is 4.5-5.5 inches.

I don't remember the size. I think they're 29" with the little tread there is.

I went and talked to a shop, he said I could do 3 up front, 1.5 in the back, possibly new shocks up front? 2005 F150 4.6 2wd 235/70r17 on em now. What tire should I go?

I did a 3" leveling block up front and never installed the 1" block in the rear. I am running 285/75-17 Falken Rocky Mtns with no rub. I am using an aftermarket rim, but I don't know the bs.
