Effectively, going with his current setup and adding the Bilsteins he'd lessening the rake by 2" , but not leveling it?
lessening the rake by 2" should be fairly close to visibly level, though. My truck was visibly higher in the front with 2.5" (prior to alignment, I had my rear blocks in before it went to the shop).

Also you can factor in when towing or loaded down; the pressure will even things out and you won't be worrying about handling issues, also a slight rake helps aerodynamics (lol).

I was thinking that was the case Gator but makes sense. I just read a thread that kills the Rancho quicklift so I guess its between the HBS spacers and the 5100's. I know there is a huge cost difference here though..... probably end up with the spacers and new struts.

Weather has been real crappy...this is the best pic I have so far. I needed shocks and wanted to level it so the Bilsteins were a no brainer for me

I've only seen one glaring thread I read where I guy bashed the Rancho install but it was a known issue when he had them installed upside down--- I haven't seen many 'I hate them' comments... it's not as 'overwhelming' as the 5100's--- but for me they weren't an option.

Think I am going with the HBS aluminum blocks at 2.5" and then replace the factory struts all around. This should be under 200 for everything and I will do the labor myself. Should I go with Skyjacker or Rancho struts?

What did they bash about with the Rancho Quicklift? I just ordered my 275/65/20R BF Goodrich A/T KO, and it'll take awhile for them to get in so I am looking at level kits too, i've read pro and cons about all sorts of options...but yet anything con about the Rancho's, not a lot of threads about them really.
