level kit actual height
I have got a drawing from another forum member to make a level kit.
I have a machine and welding shop so fabrication is not a problem, I have allready lasercut the top plates.
What I was wondering if the actual size of a 3 inch level kit is 3 inch because on all pictures I look at they look smaller.
I drive a 2wd and want a 2.75 inch lift, because I read that 3 inch is max. and I sometimes tow a trailer and don't want the front end to be be to its limits.
I hope someone can give me info about the height.

A 3" level spacer would probably be around 1.5" in thickness.
For what it's worth, don't put a 3" level on your truck. The suspension geometry will be way off and you'll have really severe angles.
2.5" is the largest you should go for these trucks, but I personally wouldn't do anything more than a 2" level.
I'm not sure where you read 3" max, but just because they make and sell them doesn't mean they should ever be put on these trucks. You'll see nothing but issues unless you drive on the smoothed roads in the world 100% of the time.

That's what I wanted to know.
I will start with a 1" spacer, that will maybe give me some 2-2.5 inch lift I hope and that's enough for me indeed.
If somebody knows the exact height tot get this lift please let me know, that saves me a lot trail & error

I have a 2.5" that measures.. 1 11/16 (1.6875)
I saw somewhere a breakdown of the actual dimensions,Can't find it right now.

I live in the netherlands, I have tried several suppliers but nobody ships to Europe 😢
Making them myself will cost me some 15 dollars

Ahh I see. Makes sense then. Make sure they are super strong. I'd go overkill and make them stronger than you think they need to be
