popped a CEL the other day, plugged it in i get misfire on cyl 8 and a "pending" code for left bank lean.

the misfire is easy, im doing plugs and coils soon anyway...

but im showing 4 different 02 sensors for the truck. left pre cat, left post cat, right pre cat, right post cat.

any way of telling which 02 sensor it could be? obviously its a left one, but how do i tell if its pre cat or post cat?

 

did you clear the codes and if so did they come back?


I never go chasing CEL issues until it codes at least twice within 100 miles

 

cleared the codes yesterday when I did some battery work, the misfire (im 90% sure its this code) popped again a few minutes later. the other one (i assume because in the reader it said it was "pending") Im guessing thats the code thats popping when I get to WOT on a grade, the truck loses power and the cel flashes for a few moments before going out again. If my thinking here is right, all I can think of to fix it is new 02 sensors when I do the plug swap, but I dont want to replace both 02 sensors if I dont have to.
