The 6000k are bluer (not awful though). Wish I would have gone for the 5000k.

ok,
so this is what i ordered from superbrightleds.com

DOME:
RL4410-xHP9 Rigid Loop Festoon bulb

MAP:
921-x12 Wedge Base LED bulb

MAP:
168/194 Miniature Wedge Base Socket

the wedge socket is used because the (stock) MAP lights in the truck are not wedge type bulbs. thus needing the wedge base sockets...

It's different, but it does looks like it will work. The one I got had the round end contacts like the stock bulb.

i got the bulbs today. pretty fast shipping i must say!
anyways, you would probably be better off with the pic i attached than the one i got. it worked, but i had to bend the prongs a little to get it to fit. it was a little to long. works great though!
and you DO NOT need the wedge base sockets, i dont know what i was thinking..you just pull the stock bulbs out (wedge lights also) and put the new ones in.

I wondered about you sayin you needed that wedge base...I had just pulled the lights out when I read that, but figured I didnt know what i was talkin about and maybe the bulbs you were talkin about wouldnt work in the stock base
