You're right; LED bulbs are very "directional". That's why they sell them in cluster type arrangements.

I doubt you'll find an LED (low current) flasher at a Ford dealership, as they did not equip LED bulbs in these model year trucks for sure.

i have the v-led switchback t/s's + the load risisters and thats all. mine work fine, they dont flash any faster.

Correct. With the load resisters, you can use the stock flasher, and your cruise control works. Some ignore the load resistors, and don't care about their cruise control, and then post asking why their turn signals now flash quickly.

I would not give up my cruise control to gain (??) an LED bulb in my taillights; not worth it.

yea....losing cruise control would suck, i go on trips all the time with my truck cross country and deep woods exploring/camping, dear god id feel like i was living in the stone age without cruise lol
