Default LED lights under dash

So I bought some LED light strips that mount with double stick tape to put under the dash. What is the best way to tap into 12V without having to cut or modify any stock wiring? I don't want to cut into anything that could cause a problem years down the road. Want it to be completely reversible.

I went with a fuse tap. Super easy install!

Looks a little something like this. Not cutting or splicing all plug and play.

Got one. There are 2 different sizes, one for big fuses and one for small. My 07 has the small fuses.

Dang, you work fast! My 2012 has the small ones too but the plastic casing around the fuses wouldn't let the tap go in, so I had to use a large one to clear all the plastic. Still fit just stuck out farther which was needed.

Hope it helps!

And don't forget to buy extra fuses and some extra wire. This project has required three trips to the store so far. I originally planned about 30 minutes!

Can you post a picture both the wiring and the nighttime under dash lights? I just put LED in my map lights and dome and it made a HUGE difference.

It took me 4 trips to the parts store to finish it. Not only are there big and small fuses, there are also small low profile fuses. My 07 has the regular small fuses with the prongs that stick out (not low profile). The fuse tap doesn't include a fuse so you have to buy a $3 pack of fuses to go with it to make the tap work. So you end up with two fuses in the tap. One for the stock circuit and one for the tap off.
