Default LED install

IS there anyone out there that may know the easy way to remove the center cap from the headlight assembly shown in the picture? It's got one screw holding it in... I'm just wondering if there's an easy way without ripping the housing all apart etc...

The new bulbs i have have a projector tip on them and the cap is keeping the bulbs from throwing the max light...

I'd imagine you'd have to bake them and pull the lens off.
Could you post a picture of the bulbs you're using? I'm interested in the built in projector.

Yep, unfortunately, removing the lense is the only way. I just took mine apart for my projector retrofit.

That 'projector' is going to shine light into oncoming traffic.

And that's exactly why you should NOT remove the middle piece in the headlight shroud.

I agree. It would make an excellent DRL. But not a headlight.
