Didn't read through the whole thing but looks good. I love a diesel samurai. I thought most people drop in VW diesels so that should be interesting. I'll read through the forum more when I have some time. Good work!

That's a pretty awesome project, a Suzuki engine would be pretty sweet. All the same have you thought about a 4BT cummins? Either way id like to see some updates and pictures in the future

The VW diesel has been done and then done again. This is just kewl cause it's different, and this engine was in 80s Rangers. Got to keep the Ford thing going. And the 05 F150 does not even feel the Samurai when towing.

At this point the drive shafts are giving me a little problem. The best fix I think would be a married trans and transfer case. This would shorten up the trans/Xfercase, eliminate shaft #1, lengthen rear shaft and shorten front shaft. Also, would not have to do more adjusting on the Xfercase, as the slip joint to the trans keeps eating seals. BUT the thing is soooooo kewl to drive.
